Mommy's little helper

It never fails every time I open the dishwasher, whether it is to load it or unload it; Rayce is there to help. How can I turn the kid down with that kind of smile on his face? He is just so curious. He wants to be by my side, all the time, doing what I am doing. I love it, it’s like he’s my little protector. We do everything together.

This week went a lot better then last. Rayce is sleeping, napping, and eating better. He is also extra happy during the day. Poor guy, teething sure is rough. He’s back to only waking once, which has made a huge difference in everything.

When I woke up today and looked at Rayce I thought to myself, how lucky am I? I have the most rewarding job and I get to spend my days with this little guy. Sure I don’t have extra money to do this that or the other but one thing I do know is Rayce is happy and well taken care of. Nothing else matters and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Teefy's

Rayce now has 2 teefy's! He cut his second tooth this past weekend. I love when he smiles at me and all I can see is those cute little teefy's.

I just can't

Let go of the infant bathtub. It's obvious that Rayce is too big for the thing but I'm in denial and I just don't want to accept the fact that my baby is growing up. I know he needs to move to the big peoples bath tub but...but I just can't. It is our time to bond and if he moves to the big bathtub then he's going to want to play and splash and I will no longer be needed.

OK, maybe I'm being a little selfish here but look he's just so happy in this thing. I love this kid; he always has a smile on his face. What can I say? I'm one proud mommy! I will try to work on getting him into the big bathtub this week but I'm not making any promises. Until then we will continue on in our infant bathtub.
